The 2016 Geolympix Mega is playing host to perhaps the first European Geocaching Film Festival.
Similar events have been held in
the USA in the past, but there's never been a UK/RoI-specific one before.
Now the Geolympix has regained Mega status, we've been
givern permission to show the GIFF (Geocaching International Film Festival) movies, as well as movies made for the Geolympix Film Festival itself.
April 2016 update: We've secured the Community Hub room at Ashridge for the Geolympix Film Festival; the pefect on-site venue.
Films will be shown on a loop, so visitors can just wander in and out as they like. The room is accessed via the National Trust's gift shop and will be
well sign-posted on the day.

How to have your film included
First, create your geocaching film! Ones made in the past are also fine.
Please DO NOT include features such as copyright music you don't have permission to use, bad language or
other inappropriate-for-a-young-audience content.
Once shot and edited, please upload your finished film to a video sharing site such as YouTube or Vimeo. Please set it to 'embedible' so we can add it to this page.
Send us the URL (web address) along with which category you're entering it in and we'll review it.
You can sent a link by email,
Facebook or Twitter.
If it passes our 'is this ok to put on the website?' test, we'll add it below (example given, left).
We'll add a voting system closer to the 2016 Geolympix so people can let us know which they prefer.
All the included films will be shown at the 2016 Geolympix at Ashridge, Herts, in the Community Hub room (next to the NT gift shop and cafe.)
Winners in each category will be given something shiny.
